Steering Colum Shroud

Hey guys, Hope all is well. Heres the story...I broke the shroud that goes around the steering colum in my 92. None of the junk yards around have anything for it. They are searching for 91 to 93 in there computers. I think a second gen shroud will work, but cant find anyone I know that has a truck I can look at. Has anybody tried this or does anybody know if they will interchange? Just to clear things up, the shroud pieces i need are the ones that go around the ignition switch.

I think 1994 is the same as the 93

The shroud parts will be similar if not the same up to 98 at least. Look in dakotas, rams and vans. I pulled a set off a 98 dakota for my 93. The Hollander is thinking 91-93 because of teh column, not the pieces. Very few people sell pieces off a steering column.

Did you break the lower or upper?
The upper is the same for auto or manual, and fits at least to 1998, that I know of, but it would not surprise me if it went to '02.

Here's a cool fact:
1992 through 1996 Dakots sometimes had color keyed steering wheel and column covers (shrouds), but the '91-'93 fullsize trucks never did.
Some vans also had color-keyed pieces.

A red interior with a red wheel and column covers is a nice touch.

Mark.

I broke the upper. Thanks, I will be able to find one for a second gen alot easier. I love this place. Anytime I have a question, all I have to do is ask and I get an answer.
