Steering coloumn pod

Before I order this pod, I want to make sure it will work in my truck. I have a '91.5 LE D350. I plan on putting an Isspro fuel pressure gauge in it.

I heard that you need to have a tilt column to use that pod, but I have no actual experience with it, just what I've heard.

Tilt only and it has to be the later column.

If your column looks like mine it will fit. Here is a side shot of my pod.

How much does that block the view of the speedometer?

Do you get the new top of the housing or is it just the pod you mount to the existing?
Looks nice.

YOU DO NOT NEED A TILT COLUMN!!

Our 91 has a NON TILT column. and the pod slipped right on and we used the fasteners. just that little tilt lever is not there, so the hole remains empty. it works it works it works

Jim it blocks the speedo from 80 MPH and up. At that speed I am not watch gages anyway. I am watch other drivers. So its no big deal there.

The pod slides down over the orginal housing. The pod extends down to the orginal parting line of the top half of the column cover.

View from the driver's seat.

Not too much blockage. and what it does block is the upper part (over 75mph)of the speedo where it dosen't really matter. I'm over 6' tall and I can see the speedo to about 85 from my angle.

Fits right over the existing upper half of the coluum shroud. The pod comes with som little plastic push in rivets but I used some small black screws. I think you can see one of them in the pic.
