I am not trying to bad mouth any battery, but I have a local starter shop guy who is amazing in what he knows. He used to sell interstate batteries, so I thought they were great. Recently I stopped by to talk to him about battery choices for one of our tractors. He told me the reason he stopped selling interstate batteries was because since they moved the factory out of the U.S. the batteries weren't very good. He said a local large fleet of trucks was running interstate batteries and began having lots of starter problems. They changed to a different battery company and there massive problems went away. Just a thought, but I am not trying to say anything bad. However I do really really trust this guy when it comes to starters and alternators and such. He said he properly load tested some new interstates and they would not hold a load like they should. He said personally he was using batteries from oreily's in his own vehicles. This shocked me somewhat, but I put one in a tractor and so far so good. I am not going to necessarily recommend that battery, b/c I haven't used them much yet. Just thought I would let you know what my "expert" said. Good Luck, I do think a battery will fix you up though.

I don't blame you for that. There is actually an Interstate in my truck that knock on wood has been doing great for 3 years now. I hate to talk bad about a company, but this guy is no idiot, and he did test several before he let his dealership go. Anyway, good luck friend.
