You know I have always liked the look of long beds and have always said to myself that a long bed truck is more functional... I have hauled engines, drivelines, tires scrap metal moved my parents 3 times and I have never once... hauled a sheet of plywood lol.

Glad to see my old cab is going to good use. I am gathering parts for my own conversion/swap. 1978 Crew cab LWB 2wd. Making it 4wd and Cummins power. I kinda wished I hadn't sold that crewcab but glad now that someone is doing something with it. I may have to stop by one of these days.

Heya Vinny! I can tell you be glad you sold it. The roof was rusty enough that it had to come off anyway thats why I decided to go ahead with the extention. And by all means, anyone from here is welcome to stop by and say hi.

It has been freezing here and I have worked monday-saturday 7-5:30 for the last 10 weeks so my garage time has been very slim lately.

I think the last thing I saw about this truck was listed in the classifieds for sale.

Yeah... I've been working (getting worn out) on my other crew longbox 4X4 conversion. I'm a few weekends from a running truck and man-o-man these things are hard to work on without a BIG shop to work in and the right equipment. I threw a feeler out there to see if anyone was serious about taking over the Mega where I'm at with it, didn't have any REAL GOOD bites so I let the ad expire and I'll return to working on it when the other truck is done.

Latest on the 4X4 crew conversion...

Donor drivetrain/body/wiring truck (drove that truck home from work at 5:00 the night before LOL):

Donor manual trans firewall welded in (4X4 crew in the background):
