1st gens look good with a single stack. Other years not so much. I like my 5" turnout but thats just me. There are others around here that like the same.
Main thing is What does your budget allow? And do what YOU want and think looks cool. Because in the end your the one you have to please! Good luck

Why not just drill a small hole in the low point of the system?
That's what I plan on doing anyway.
I can't imagine crawling under my truck, where ever it may be after a rainstorm to drain a little bit of water from the exhaust.
And IIRC, from searching on that subject I seem to remember a lotta people just firing it up and going. Letting the heat burn out the water. But I also seem to remember those same people complaining about black soot spots on their trucks too!

I have to admit they are fun to listen to. I had a rail with dual exhaust that turn upwards. I put tractor flappers on it to keep the rain out, and the clapping really got people looking at the red lights.
Hey Ya all,
I have two 4" stacks on my truck look at my photos. I put the Y under the truck and cut front of the bed and welded it back up so nothing would hit the pipes and attached them to the cab with rubber insulators. I still have 49" between the bed mod and loos only 8" x 6" in front corners. I designed my own caps that lay insid of the stack to keep 99% of the rain and snow out, and you can't see them till it starts. I have small holes on bottom to allow just water to exit if get some down the stacks. If need to see more pictures I can send them to ya just email me at dodgetrucks742001@yahoo.com, 29th April and May 5th my truck will be on Spike TV, Powerblock Trucks.

I probably will go with the holes in bottom. I like rain caps alright. I have them on my Ford-a simple 3" stack. Problem is when it rains here, the wind blows 40, and of course being a hunting rig it sits for a month or so at a time, and upon start its like a geyser.
Heres some 6" turnouts, 1stgen545 now has this setup pictured. Thats Lees rig that they are on. Those look good but its all too "wannabe" for me and I dont want to be associated with the folks that run 'em in Texas. You HAVE to admit that 9 out of 10 rigs that have stacks in Texas look retarded and have drivers that fit the bill. 4" turbo back for me. I guess it comes from driving things that came from the factory with stacks. JMO
