I was just looking for opinions for my d350. I'm looking to do a 7x36 straight cut stack. What y'all think

 

Its a matter of opinion..I like the way they look on OneMoparNuts d350 but I personally am not a fan.

 

What style are they? Or how can I look for them

 

I believe its called a mitre cut? Cut on a slant. He has 2 5in stacks.

 

I've tried to look for him bit I couldn't find him

some times Stack's look good but other times they look like Crap there are some Really Nice truck's with Stack's and then there are other's that Just don't Look right basicly to Each there own

 

Stacks look good from the outside but most installations look cobbled once you look inside the bed. Plus you lose a foot of your bed. And if you have a nice truck with a clean bed you have to put large holes in it. I would definitly stack a flatbed though. Guess it depends on how much of a craftsman you are when it comes to installation.

 

It wrecks the bed and you loose functionality. Like others have said they look good in some trucks but not in others(most I would say). I won't stack mine unless it's out the hood and that not to likely

 

If you like stacks, put them on your truck.

Locally here stacks kill the resale value of a nice truck. In order to sell you have to first find somebody that wants a truck with a butchered bed with stacks. Three years ago a local car dealer friend of mine bought a nice 91 Dodge at an auction for around $1500 because nobody wanted the truck because it had two large holes in the front of the bed floor. It sat on his lot for 3 - 4 months with zero interest before he made a trade deal on it with another car dealer out of MD. BTW, the repair estimate IIRC to remove the bed, trim and dress the holes, weld in proper fitting patches, grind, fill and paint to match both sides of the bed was in excess of what he paid for the truck!

 

If you do a lot of racing, then it has great functionality. I had a single 48" in mine and it dronnnnnneeeddd like no tomorrow. Personally, since I daily driver my truck, a full exhaust and adding a turn up for competition is what I am doing.

 

the drone gets real old after awhile, I love the look and the sound outside the truck but driving them gets old on a long trip, and it also depends on how tall you make it above your cab and if you have it pointed away or mitre cut, my cousin has each style on his second gen and his red cummins is almost flush with the cab if not alittle below and mitre cut and it drones like no other, his white cummins is angled back and sticks above his cab and its not near as bad as the red truck but on the three hour drive home with it it got annoying.
