I just bought mine off of ebay for $395 for the kit (free shipping) for 5" mitre cuts, plus $30 for internal mufflers (2) if you want them, and $20 for the adapter to go from the 3" stock pipe to the 4" inlet on the bottom of the stack. They look great and sound incredible!

can you cut/weld?
if so, get a 5" stick of box tubing... I got a drop piece from a buddy for scrap price, but I got a drop from a metal supply for $40-50 once also. just run an elbow up to the box and stand your stacks on it and cap the ends... you can get a pair of stacks on ebay for ~$100 shipped...
bottom line is you can build a set for under $200 if you can cut/weld

I just bought some 5" aluminzed pipe and cut my own 45, and used some 90's and a 4 to 5" reducer. The total cost for me was 30 bucks, since i got the 9's from my work, but the 90's usually cost 20 bucks a piece, so i would say you could make your own for 100-200 dollars.Easily.
Good luck.

The material is great. Everything went together as it is supposed to. The customer service is top notch. The only issue I found is that there is a bed support right under the bed closest to the cab. I had to place the stacks about 6" back from the front wall of the bed. It still looks really good though. Shipping took less than 2 weeks. I had to get the internal mufflers (inspection requirements) but the stacks are still loud as anything with the windows down (not obnoxious, just right) and the cab is quiet with the windows up. Definately glad I went with them.

If you build your own setup you can put the stack(s) wherever you want. You just have to come through the bed floor about 6 inches back from the front wall.

Wanna, a friend of mine is sending me the Grand Rocks kit for CHEAP!!!! (Shipping only, brand new!!) Just wondering if I got to stay 6" back from the front on the cab. Any other tips on the install. I was gunna build my own box and go the cheap route, but I can't beat this deal. Thanks, I'll have pics when I get them done.
Also, I don't know if he is sending me the 3"-4" reducer piece. Where can I get this, maybe NAPA??
Thanks again

You'll have to crawl under the truck and look. I know all club cabs have a frame crossmember in the way, that's why you have to go back farther. If you don't mind losing some bed space, you can lay the splitter down and come out of it to an elbow and go down through the bed that way. Monty's are done kind of like that. You can get the reducer at a truck shop, or from Airflow Systems online.

I can't remember exactly what it looks like under there, but when I did my stack I cut my hole right in the front of the bed. The only thing in my way was the bed crossmember, and I bent up a piece of flat stock to go around the pipe and tie the crossmember back together. I would think as long as it's just the bed crossmember and not something for the frame you're alright, it was probably stronger after I put the flat stock on there then it was brand new. There's not gonna be a whole lot of weight on the floor of the bed if you've got a toolbox there anyway.

On the cross member, this shows one off a D350 Std Cab. There is a cross member right behind the Std Cab. The next one to the right (towards rear) would be the one that interferes with coming up right behind a Club Cab - I think.
I have been looking at stacks for my truck and in the next while ($$$ and Time constraint) I would like to bring a stack up behind the sleeper and up through the front corner (single stack) of the passger side of the bed. Would probably end up mounting it to the back corner of the sleeper with brackets... This site is bad for me So many good ideas!
