anyone ever install a spicer 5 spd? ive heard it done to a 12 valve wonder what it takes to do?? would be pretty BEEFY eehhh? divorce the t-case and youd be set. whata yall think?? anyone got any input?

 

Most of the Spicer 5spds I have seen are direct in 5th gear, so you would need some kind of browie box or overdrive add on to get your road speed if you have gears taller than 3.07's

 

You would want an overdrive model like the 3035A or similar, you would also have to do a body lift the clear the bellhousing, most likely a SAE #3. I don't know what you would have to do for a clutch.
