When I was puttin in my new tranny (5speed getrag) the speedo module that screws in to the side got messed up finally bought a new one and now my needle moves but is way off says I'm doin 100mph in 3rd gear so I swaped the wires around and same thing any thoughts would be great Thanks

 

You need a ratio adapter that reduces the output from the tail shaft the appropriate amount, it goes into the transmission first, then the VSS screws into that. All Getrags have these in our trucks.
