Speedo/odometer help please
I just signed up here out of frustration. I've been a forum lurker for years and probably owe about half of my diesel knowledge to them so thanks.
I am also new to dodge. Recently bought a 2wd late 91 d250. The speedo and odometer were not working when I bought it. Fuses were good and also the fuse link deals checked out. First thing and cheapest thing I did was the sender, still nothing. I pulled the gauge cluster apart after reading about "stripped gears", everything seemed to be spinning meshing, functional. Also started the truck and checked for voltage at the sender. I have no voltage or ground and don't know where to go from here. I've heard ecm (or tps which I think is unrelated, but what do I know)?
I know there's a lot of posts out there and I've read through many of them and about half of them consist of people arguing if they have an a518 or 46rh, or if their pickup is ic or no ic. So any suggestions for my speedo issues would be killer. Sorry for any newb or ignorance just wanna fix my truck.
