Speedo odometer

My speedo works good but the odometer dosen't work at all. Is this deffently the odometer gears or could it be the vss or something else. I though they run off the same signal so it has to be the odmeter gears right or ? help!!! Also is their a place you can send the instrument panel and have it rebuilt and calbrated

If the speedo works and the odo doesn't, 9 times out of 10 it's the gears.

Where can one get the gears? I've been putting this off, and need to do it.

Thanks

Here is the sticky on it. I did this last year and it was not a problem at all to do. My little gear was the only one bad so I just replaced it. While things were off, I repainted my faded gage needles. Just a little hint, red at night doesn't show up too good.
