You guys that have sticks, stock tires and 354 gearing, can you please tell me what your RPMs are at 60 mph?

Thanks

I dont have a tach, but you can check out any of the online calculators for the answer... Just enter your gear, tire size, speed, rpm and get whatever you need for the answer.

I have a tach. I want to see how much difference there is between a stick and my auto.

Thanks

i have a '90 with a 6-speed out of an '02. 60 mph i'm turning 1500 rpm in 6th gear. so if you have a 5-speed, you'd probably be somewhere around 2000 rpm at 60 mph.

It is right around 1800 rpm in OD, and 2400 in direct -- BUT the speedo reads a little faster than I'm actually going according to the "smart signs" on the highway and my calculations based on gearing and revs per mile for 235/85 16 tires.

In my 92, stick, I turn 2050 at 70, which converts to 1760 at 60mph. In the 93 auto, I turn anything from 1700 to 1900, depending on the hill and how hard I'm pushing it. Both have 3.54 gears. In fact, ALL our Dodges have 3.54s (3 1stGens and a 04 Dakota)

Thanks guys. I was trying to get an idea how tight my TC was. I'm about 1750 @ 60 mph.

Dan,
I'm surprised that your not around 1600 @ 60mph with your 92
