1000??? did they forget a zero? sounds too good to be true...

12 inches of lift and in California, is that legal? i know here in PA that would be WAY to high.

I figure someone has listed that guy's truck, un-beknownst to him, as a joke.

If he is having to "commute", he could spend what he is immediately losing on that truck for fuel and come out ahead.

Ever since the fuel "crisis" of the seventies, when for a couple weeks they forced us to limit customers to two-gallons per day, I have seen people do all sorts of stupid things and make all sorts of stupid decisions, solely to "save" on gas.

a 12 inch lift on a 2 wheel drive truck, on 40s. sounds like the cali mentality for sure.

I just called the guy.
He says the price is a misprint; its $4000, not $1000, and the lift is 6 on 37, not 12 on 40.
4000 is still good.

sounds like some kind of scam, or at least a bait and switch to me. There's to many discrepancies in the ad and what he has said on the phone.

It goes from 12" to 6", thats not a mis print or mistake, something is not right about the whole thing?

They are on to him.

I just checked the add and it said.

I have seen some pretty dumb looking things here in Southern California as far as truck modifications.
