Some Very Expensive Trucks In The Classifieds Right Now
RonA's logic makes sense to me for why they are disappearing and the prices are going up. It also is almost to the letter why I love my 2nd gen. Stole it for 1500 dollars, added a few parts and a lot of my own work, and it runs like a thief in the night. It gets 21 mpg around town and has whipped a few 3rd gen stockers.
Hmmmm. When my truck had 80,000 miles I told the Service Writers at Cummins Power South they should repair my Killer Dowel Pin for free because it is so obviously a design defect. Every Cummins employee behind the counter immediately laughed out loud. But they did acknowledge the KDP is indeed a problem and they volunteered to fix it -- for $512.
Just to confirm, these engines are NOT guaranteed for 1 million miles.
