some 1991 3/4 ton dodge
welll i bought a 3/4 ton dodge today, bodies decent, i traded a roadmaster and 3000 cash. already tookin it wheelin and preformed really well even with old man tires. i have a couple questions on it
its a 91 so did it come with a 727 or a 47rh and what reliability issues are there with the automatic 727 ??
anyone reccomend me to a link where i can maybe do some fuel tunning and turbo tunning for some more ***** ?? ive heard something along the lines of turning screws and as simple as that ?
where can i get some detoit lockers for this ***** ?
what lift is available to snug 35's under this thing and i mean most bang for the buck lift ? has anyone ever seen one with blacked out everything except grille with a cap ? i wanna do this to mine but wanna know what it looks like first ?

The 47RH was not offered in the cummins diesel trucks until new body style in 1994 otherwise known as the "SECOND GENERATION".. The A518 O/D non lockup 4 speed tranny was the 91.5-93 tranny, if your truck is intercooled then you have the O/D tranny. They are both strong trannies, the 727 is my favorite and is a beast, and Me and my dad had a truck running 14's in the 1/4 mile on a stock 727 with 300,000 miles on it.

section. Thats what you'll want, theres all kinds of little problems/ little nice repairs in the "STICKY". read it good. NO other forum will compare to DTR for 89-93 First gen cummins trucks.Smokems has a blacked out truck. Search his name on the members list.
Have fun with it!!! Find out if its Intercooled or Non intercooled. Get some gauges (EGT and BOOST) then add some fuel tweaks and have fun

No 1st Gen came factory with a 47rh. If it is intercooled and has overdrive it has the A518. Non I/C, no O/D is a 727.
