yeah i know of 2 2nd gens and another 1st gen around here with that same paint scheme. I like the way it looks though, I like it better than the red stripe.

It must be a regional thing; at least half of the Dodge trucks that share this body-style running around here, both gas and diesel, have the exact same black and silver as her's is.

The silver is outlined across the top with a red and silver stripe.

The stripe is faded and worn.

BK:

Part numbers for the passenger side tape packages:
1992: bright red/silver/bright red, 4636 938-9

1993: flame red/silver/flame red, 4720 182-3

The driver side and tailgate are different part numbers but the above numbers should be sufficient to get your local Mopar counter man onto his computer to see what may be still sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

If you could find the OEM stripes, why not utilize them? I have ordered discontinued parts from Dodge dealers in at least ten states. The current Mopar computer system is pretty decent (and far better designed than is the wiring on our trucks).

Good luck.

It might be a common paint scheme, but it's rare to see one with that much paint still stuck to the truck.

Thanks for the part-numbers.

I wonder what would be the difference between bright red and flame red.

I will have my Dodge guy check it out.
