Truck in my avatar with 315/75/16's and 6" lift. The tires look pretty small, but I can get them to rub.

I got the front left to kiss the fender when the front right and left rear were off the ground. The corner of the bed was also smashed into the cab at this time from the frame flexing, oh well.

I am currently running 265-16's. Looking for an all terrian tread design. I spend most of my time on pavement.

You could go with a 285 but you would gain a little width too. Or you could go with a 255-85 they would be narrower than a 265 but they would be about an inch taller

96 12v 4x4 ... running 275 x 65R 20 ... that's about 35in tall with no rubbing ... stock no lift

it might be possible to run slightly taller without lifting, but not by much.

here is my 75 (alomst identical to the 1st gens) 8in gasser springs, 2in body lift,... on it know (do to an ordering issue) 33X13.50X18, but used to have 38.5x11.50 boggers on with 0 rub
