I finally got my truck pics on my desk top, along with pics of the insides of a real turbo...anyway, I feel that I would like to share all the labor of my work, so can anyone school me on how I can post my pics? You know, so one can do the slideshow thing and all. I have around 24 pics. Help.

 

Try this out:
click the linky up top for member photos. next, on the right side of the screen you will see the following : Home · Search · Profile · Upload Photos Click the upload photos.
Now, click the tabs for "Browse" to the right of the open white text boxes. Enter whatever description you wish to use, when done hit the upload/submit button. Then I believe they need to be approved by board admin. before they will actually show up and can be posted.
Once they are approved (you will get an email informing you) you can copy an image tag from your photo album that will insert it into your post. EX:[*]https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...m/2500_CTD.JPG[/*]

~replace the * with img and it would show as a picture, not just some wacky looking hyperlink.
That is how it has worked on other boards, if I am wrong or missed somethign here, someone please step in and give me the "NO you fool!!! "


Or, for faster results, use an alternate photo hosting site. I prefer photobucket.

 

Still having trouble. I went to upload pics at members pics. From there, what am I putting in the white box next to browse? Do I put in the JPG number from my photo?

 

click on browse, this will search your computer for the pics. Find the pics in My Photos, or wherever they are. then click the upload button.
