snow wheeling
snow wheeling
has anyone gone snow wheeling like gone out in feld with deep snow and just hav fun i ask cuz we got hit preety good here last night and on the way home i was hitting the drifts it was fun hitting them lol but if u go snow wheeling anything that would be wrong with that i mean to the trucks like to much getting in motor bay or would it be all good
i had the front end of my old s-10 (35s, 9in lift) so full of snow i could not even steer anymore. then it got super cold that night and it all froze i had to wait for it to melt before i could drive it again. it had IFS so it was a lot worse i don't think that would happen to the dodge.
Wife hit a good bank in her Durango. Actually bent the condenser and radiator, plus busted up the bumper plastic.
I have a street scene gen 1 bumper cover on my truck. Cost me over $500 after paint. I parked against some snow and spider webbed the paint bad.
Not to mention how heavy and easy to get stuck it is in these trucks.

Go for it. Heck we took the dually out ditch hopping one night after a good 10" snow. Never needed 4wd, Just kept plowing down the ditches. Good time, of course thats all us redneck farmers have to do for fun around here.

Watch for snow packing up into the radiator, engine and undercarriage. What archer39 said can happen to any area that gets packed with snow.
Probably the biggest thing is to know the field/road that you're wheelin in. Snow will hide holes, ditches, rocks, tree stumps, logs, wheels, etc, etc
.We just got done sledding on the back of the farm yesterday. But I didn't drive the heavy nose CTD. Drove the M880 and a Ram Charger.
I agree with that.
