Smoke coming out of my dipstick?

when the truck gets up to temp you can see a little trace of smoke coming out of the dipstick tube. It doesnt feel underpowered and its just as responsive as it ever was. Oil has been changed, just like usual. Rotella and a napa gold filter. Im starting to worry it might be a cracked head or a head gaslet problem. My injectors do leak around the injector bore. Dont know if that would cause anything..So whats up with the smoke?

Clogged breather tube? How much of a breeze comes out if you remove the oil fill cap?

Maybe a little breeze. Nothing that would draw immediate attention, not to me anyways. If it was a clogged breather tube, how would i go about cleaning/replacing it? And is it that serious of an issue. I dont drive the truck much. Could that cause this problem? it sitting for weeks at a time? Thanks for the reply wanna

It's only a serious issue if it's actually plugged. If you crawl under the truck while it's running, you should be able to see some vapor coming out of the breather tube. If not, take it out and clean it. Maybe something decided it would be a good place for a nest.

don't try to siphon the blowby tube

just slip a new 3/4" ID hose on if you need a new one and you're good to go.

i put a loop in mine so it doesn't drip oil that the breather doesn't catch. every once in a while might have to undo the loop and drain what oil might be in there.
