Crossy's son I'm not hating on the chevies because I still have one. But as a young man my granddad told me I had to get something different, he said the 327s & 350s were beginning to look like cord wood stacked up behind the shop so they are not indestructable. When I installed the 12th chevy engine I went to Roadrunners and Cudas for toys. Only blew 1 383 and 1 440. Hmmm musta had a heavy right foot lol.

I beat a 12 valve second gen last night, but got a $220 ticket in the process.

I gotta go to court to get it knocked down a little hopefully.

It was worth it, because he is one of those "diesel ricers" (my term) that I have written about here in other threads.

HAHA, I know the feeling. Mine blew coming back from 4th of July fun at the lake.

Thanks guys, yeah it sure surprised me, I was hoping for mid 14's. It was pretty cool when the lady handing the time slips told me the time. I thought the tranny would have been toast a long time ago but it just keeps on pluggin along. Def slipping tho, didnt dare launch at more than a few lbs. I think it should be low 13's pretty easy once i get the trans taken care of.
