Slight miss?

My truck started hazing pretty badly and developed a miss a while back. I've just been driving it less figuring a the injectors were bad causing both problems as well as the fuel mileage dropping off.

Long story short I put new injectors in today and the hazing is gone but the miss is still there. It only does it at idle(noticeably anyway). Its not like a full on miss just like 1 cylinder is a little weak. I will adjust the valves tomorrow. Any other ideas? I'm really hoping not low compression on one.

Mines been doing that off and on randomly once in a while. The other day it was doin it. I pulled the fuel filter, dumped it, refilled it and re-installed it. It fixed it for a while. Im thinkin either bad fuel, or got a whery small suction leak somewhere.

Open one injector at a time when it is running and see if you can find the bad one then adjust the valves and then do a compression test then a leak down test you will find your problem.

Have you checked your flexplate? I developed a nice tick at idle a while back. I was nervous but I adjusted the valves and it didn't change much. I pulled my torque converter inspection plate off and turned the motor on. It wiggles back and forth a lot! So I believe its cracked in the center somewhere making the noise. I've been told they will do that and go away at higher Rome just like mine does. I'm hoping its only my flexplate still though... also your stock mechanical lift pulp can make a ticking noise. Start with your valves as its easy and free and can knock one possible problem off the list.

got it fixed. This morning after everything dried off I found the #1 injector line nut was wet. tightened it up a little more and the leak and slight miss stopped. I could hear it in the exhaust more than anything to much other noise under the hood to really hear it there.
I did go through and check the valves anyway and found 2 intake valves on the tight side so that probably wasn't helping either.

On a side note I love this truck other than it's useless on pretty much anything but pavement.
