So I would like to know who has pulled a transfer sled with a D-250?

OK if anyone has pulled they may want to hang out here. This past Monday I took my 93, 250, club cab ,getrag with 4.11 pulling and 235/85/r16 el Dorado mud tires. I did better then I thought I would. However big thanks to the Dodge boys out of vt who were there they helped me dial the truck in rather nicely. Now the track was short,225' was full pull, it also was really loose on the takeoff pad and it wasn't much better the further down you went. Now my worst pull was 26' or so my best was a 210' my problem was waight and being constant. My best pull I feel was when I laid out a 187.4 or so and two trucks behind me was a '12 Dodge with huge mudders and he spun out at 176' or so ,ya I was pumped. The best part was this was the fairs first year for truck pulls so for the three classes I signed up for I ended up hooking if not, close to 12 times Monday so I really lucked out in figuring out what needed adjusting. I tuned the pump up half turn right during the gas trucks..wow nailed it burned clean and give me more boost then my Bosch gauge could read which is 20lbs. Best part my old club cab is a D-250 , I was the only 2wd there . Now yes I'd be better off with a 4x4 , but I want to prove it can be done with a 2wd and lay out hard numbers and facts . who knows this may become a big goof ball show with me as the star but ...after last Monday I don't care it was awesome. Comments and questions from the sled pullers welcome .already working on my setup for next year
