Single Stack

Well I am kind of weird, I always like to change the way my truck looks. Now I am thinking of running a single 6" turn out. Black of course, I like black. I think that would make my truck sound deeper, and I am know lovin the look of a single stack, I think they make the turck look like its made for bussiness. Any one gots some pics of single stack setup. I dunno it might jsut be another crazy thought in my head.

I think I want to try a miter cut straight so I can get the smoke as high as possible. Is there a downside to this? (besides capping it with a Folgers can on the rare occasion it rains or snows)

I think a 6'' single would be cool. I thought the 5'' was huge when I got it in the mail...now I look out the window at the truck and 5'' just looks a little small...I may just have to replace my 4-5 adapter with a 4-6 here shortly. Mhuppertz--nice avatar

If you are asking about mine I got my stack out of the blemish pile for free at a place that bends pipes for semi's for mail order. Funny thing is it doesn't look blemished to me.

I'm a big fan of singles as well. Definately the way I'll go when I make the leap.

Had to throw in my 2 cents... pics in the gallery. I know most people don't like the outside-the-bed look - but I dig the one-off mods. Not to mention using the truck camper, still having the capability of piling 75 square bales in the bed, etc. I wanted to go stack'd, but couldn't see giving up the full functionality of an 8' bed.

I dig the black stacks, tho - I'm thinking that'll look way better than my rusting chrome.

I think the best way to do it is to pull the bed back a few inches and install two miters between the box and the cabin.

Anybody ever do that? I've seen it in person, never on here, though.

I'd like to throw on a stack after I get my paint job, but I'm conflicted between that or a sleeper. I need some kind of way to use a stack and a sleeper at one time...
