Signs of injection pump needing rebuild

What are early signs of injection pump needing to be rebuilt other than leaks. been playing with fuel screw and notice that if I back it out two turns temps are close to the same and boost only drops a few psi Had dynoed a short while back and hit 250hp 670tq. Could a drop in hp (torque dropping at upper rpms) be a sign or a warn pump.

Idle dropping down when hot is the sign of a worn pump head and rotor. Mine is show the early signs of it right now, but the last dyno I went to I trailered another truck with my 93. 135 mile trip, unloaded and unhooked, I think the truck might have sat 10 minutes before getting strapped down and run. 367hp/847tq, on a trans with a bad front clutch.

What rpm is the hp/tq falling off, your throttle might not be adjusted to get the full affect of the 3200 rpm spring. Also, what lift pump are you running, I went to the low pressure piston lift pump and it made a huge difference from the original style one. But, I think I've out grown that one and will be looking for another alternative soon.
