Shrinking exhast manifold

Looks like my exhaust manifold has shrank what is the best option for a replacement? The bd unit looks nice but it is also spendy. Who else makes them?

I hate when that happens, make sure you replace the bolts too. I used a stock manifold 365 Gastkets are pricey also.

I ordered a cummins top end gasket kit and the gaskets come with it.

See if you can find a nice stock one. Most guys will never notice the differece with the performance manifolds. Until you get the Sneed. Check over on the other sites tax returns are coming back guys are spending money and unloading their old parts fairly cheap.

OK dumb question here: (us old guys can do that ya know). Shrinking manifold?! Really? Is that something ELSE I have to be concerned about on these high milers? Carbon buildup in the inside, or shrinking around the ports causing leaks, performance loss etc.? I've never even looked twice at mine because they didn't seem to suffer the ills of past rigs with cracks, warpage, broken studs etc. being common.

Onemoparnut you can find them on fleabay at pretty good prices new and used. If I was going the high dollar route I would get one of the 3 piece ones.

I found the 3 piece one from bd for 450 shipped. I think that is the one I am going to get. I know there is not much gain in performance but I don't want to get another cummins one and have it do the same thing my stock one did in time.

I ordered a manifold from dap. It is made by diesel power source and was a little more than a hundred bucks cheaper than the one from bd. They said it will hold up just as well as the bd one so we will see.
