you just have to take in the fact that when you lift you get bigger tires usually which take more power to get it going especially in the hills. usually you would re gear to compensate for this thus staying int eh same power band. jiMMy

Yeah, but even with the 3.54's if you tweak the pump a little, that 5:1 first gear will move a house. IMHO you will end up with a more desirable ratio. But it depends on what you are doing with the truck.

I Just went from 235's (31") to 315's (35"). I noticed a considerable power decrease at low end. I just turned the fuel screw 1/2 turn to compensate

I am planing on lifting it 2 or 3 inchs only because i might pull a trailer or two (flatbed with hay or other things and a cattle trailer). I was thinking about putting 32-10-50's BFG Mud or All-terrians and i'm still debateing on the lift because of pulling the trailers.

Rammin, I'm runnin 33x12.50s and don't really notice any power issues. As far as I know, my truck has a 2" lift in the rear and front is still stock. There's a slight rub when turning but with 32s, I doubt that would be a problem. You might want to just get the tires and then see if you need the lift.

I tow with 35" tires, and haven't had any lack of power problems. I think you will be fine towing with 32's.
