Shocked?

What do you all think are the best value in shocks for our trucks?... I'm in the market... Mine seem to be original equipment . On another note... I messed with the throttle yesterday (tighented the linkage, backed up the stop screw) and I'll be d***ed.. that thing is a monster... even stock. I know this is old news to just about everybody here... I just can't believe I've been driving it for 4 months... It's a completely different beast... It's like I was living in a slow motion nightmare... Anyway.. i'd appreciate anyboys input on the shock question..
Thanks to everyone here
Mike

My truck has some ancient looking no-namers on it...and it rides like too BUT, on my 86 W250 it had a set of Rancho RS somethingorother`s on it....sucked. I put a set of Pro-Comp ES9000`s on, they made a WORLD of difference. Plans are another set for the CTD, hopefully before all my fillings are gone.
