I personally am a BIG fan of the shiny paint underneath 'em!

I pulled in behind a Dodge in Austin that said "got twins". I couldnt pass up the chance to find out..........................he had twins...........or a pratt and whitney engine. Rock whatcha wanna........if I saw it in a parking lot I would stand next to it till you showed up just to ask, if that wouldnt bother you then roll with it.

These trucks are finally getting old enough now to garner the attention they deserve. I even had a guy follow me home one day no too long after I bought it to ask if I wanted to sell it. Scared the cr@p out of me before I found out what he wanted!

EVERY first gen diesel we see, we ask if they wanna sell it and around here most of the time you get the two teeth lip full of dip smile "no way buddy "

Listen to this, 2 miles away from me on a farm, is a 92 ctd D250 reg.cab 5 speed with 64,000 original miles on it..... no dents, no rust, bad paint, the farmer lets his chickens live under it and he occasionally uses it to haul this GIANT trailer around his farm full of hay bales. He parks it on the road side sometimes selling eggs out of the back of it, and we always stop and buy some eggs and ask if he wants to sell it . answer is always no

thought I'd share

The guy lets

No badges would look better. But its what you think. I leave mine on to try and keep the factory look. They are old so I like being able to say its original except for the motor mods.

I took my badges off, i'd rather not have a label on my truck for the "man" to know whats under the hood. Not that its that hard to figure out, what with the smoke from the tail pipe and everything.

i dont have badges so the " old man" aka my dad doesnt know whats under the hood, he is an "all stock" and i quote "it will last longer" type of guy. its best if he doesnt know what i do to my truck, i have to drive around the farm all calm and whatnot so he wont see the hords of smoke. the funny thing is, i know he is right but im addicted to diesel power.
