Service Manuals

I borrowed a service manual and it's great. But it has to much gasoline stuff for my liking. Is there a diesel only manual? A diesel 1st gen only manual with all the stickys in it "Priceless".

Get it from Geno's on CD. Print what you want and throw it in 3 ring binders.

The guy I borrowed this from just told me he would take 1/2 price of a new one from Geno's. He no longer runs Dodge's and moved on to Fords. The book is like new, no grease stains even, so I need to pay him for it. I was thinking of doing exactly as you said with this manual. Three ring bind what I want and put the rest away, maybe copy the stickys and put in the back, then I'd have the ultimate book!! Just checked Geno's $110 so I have a manual for $55.

I bought the CD. Got next to a high speed color laser printer and printed the whole thing, and put it into about 6 binders. Then I reprinted sections I use frequently, like the wiring diagrams, and the 568 transmission section and put the into skinny 3 ring binders. Those are for getting greasy in the shop.

Most of the time the wiring diagrams are right here at the computer so I can help folks read em.

AUGIE DOG the manual I have is one from Geno's, from my understanding it's a FSM but it says service manual and Chrysler Corp. I can only guess it's a reprint FSM but only for a 1992. I'm not at home but I don't think it has slant 6 in it!

The slant 6 truck engine was replaced by the 3.9 V6 in 1988.

The manual I have is at home. But I think it is just for 1992, but I'm not sure. It was purchased at Geno's a few years back for a 92 dodge. The gasoline stuff in it I don't have a clue what's in the book for them. If I was home I have about 12 maybe 15 of the Motors manuals for various stuff, not even sure what all I have really. I also have but never went to pick it up is ??? Alot of other automotive related repair manuals?? But no clue what is in that stuff--I inherited it from my wife's kin. Wish I could tell ya more!

Smokin$$away thanks for the reply! I have an 87 D-100 I am working on for my son and I would like to get an FSM for it. It has a slant 6. I may drop a diesel in it later but for know were keeping the slant banger in it so an FSM would be nice to have.

Augie back in like 1970 I bought a Plymouth valiant I think that's what it was. If I remember correctly it had a 273 slant 6 in it that would run a hole in the wind. Cut the top off and made a pasture racer out of it. It would run over 100 mph, what a blast for a kid with $25 to spare!! Cam it, split the exhaust manifold for duals, 4 bbl it and it will lift the left front tire off the ground in the D100-I witnessed that. A friend built his son one and he smoked the chebies and the furd trucks on a daily basis. Good luck on your project!

I bought my 1990 Diesel Supplement Manual as a used one from Amazon. Paid $20 plus shipping. This goes with the regular service manual.
