What's the best way to put or what type of cup holder in with second gen seats. Pics would be great thanks

Oops sorry double post

 

I put seats from a '94 in my '89. All the mounting holes touched the floor pan except the rear outside mounts. I propped those up with about 3" long aluminum tubing.

As for the cup holder, you could try that 2nd gen seat mount holder, but I hear it gets in the way of the getrag shifter.

 

Yeah that's my only problem. I might just fab something up

I have 2000 seats and the cupholders were ment for the rear. So I cut holder off the bracket and shifted it forward about 5". Notice the spider in the first picture

 

Apparently the cupholders on Geno's are now made to fit indie the middle console over top of the change holder and stuff. I think I'm gonna take a look at one of those.
