rough start when not plugged in

Have also heard of others replaceing them with other relays that interchange.

Sounds like an older diesel with no cold start assist. Could be aggravated by plugged fuel filter, and the grid heaters that aren't working. My RamCharger has the grids on a push button and when I don't use them it runs rough and smokes and shakes for a few mins. Its no different than the older big diesels I used to work on, and none of them had cold start assist... Except maybe a little ether once in a while...

Truck is fixed!! Found some wires that were loose turns out they went to the grid heater relays hooked them back up she fired right up at 6 degrees. Without being plugged in. Thanks for all your help guys
