Question RMS stopped leaking??

So I changed the earl on the old girl yesterday, nothing earthshattering, but I decided to "hose" off the oily underbelly whilst i was crawling round under there. I happened to direct the spray straw from the solvent i was using into the litlle teeny weep hole at the bottom of the bellhousing in an effort to rinse out some of the mung that had collected from the RMS leak. WELL, would`nt ya know, I drove the thing to work today and I took a peek under there out of curiosity and LO AND BEHOLD...it`s dry I wonder if the solvent/cleaner (Castle brand, product is called "shop solve") might have "swelled" the RMS a wee bit? Knowing my luck, it`ll probably be like a petroleum Niagra Falls next week but heck I`ll take dry any day.

If your luck's like mine sometimes, . . . . . the leak's gotten much worse and you're out of oil!

Update

Well, the drip is back, thankfully the same as before ...never thought I`d say thankfully over something like that! If the seal gets me thru the majority of the summer I`ll be happy.

You'll be ok until it starts leaking out faster than you can pour it in.
