rims and tires

Has anyone put larger rims and tires on a 2WD 3/4 ton? I'm thinking of putting larger (18") rims and tires on my ride. I need to get the moog springs to raise the front a little but I was wondering who with 2WD has gone to larger rims and tires. Would like to get your take on the project. Did it improve the handling and ride?

Brad

18's are hardly noticeable. My neighbor who has a 93 D250 like mine, just installed 23" x8.5 front and 23x 10" in the rears! it not only looks killer, but the handling is freakin' incredible! And he doesn't even have a front sway bar! we've both been waiting to find out where we can purchase a new front anti-sway bar for the D250. I am thinking about putting 22"'s on mine next month. look/handles and just drives freakin'killer!

Blowndodge- do you happen to have the moog# for the springs you mentioned? No one around here knows what I'm talking about. Does larger rims really help the ride?
Thanks, Michael
