Hey all, I'm in the process of putting my housing on my replacement turbo and I have 1 very stubborn bolt. It's rounded off a little bit and I'm going to borrow a torch and see if that will loosen her up enough to get it out without further rounding. Just looking for any further suggestions. Thanks!

warm up the bolt alittle(warm, not red) and then shoot some kroil or pb blaster at it, try to get it under the head so it wicks into the threads.

 

I feel kinda retarded for posting this now because I'm just now getting back to look at the replies. Anyway, Thats what I did to get it to come apart. Great minds think alike Turbo is finally on after a 3 week wait and boy is it great to have the beast back. Is cummins the best place to get a gasket for the oil return? Or can i make one out of that papery gasket sheet material? Thanks!

Your local Dodge dealer can get you the drain gasket, too. Lie and tell them you have an '02, that way they will take the trouble to look it up.
