Redhead - Took care of me when they didn't have to...

I had my box rebuilt for the conversion project and developed a leak ...

Redhead took care of me even though they didn't have to.

Customer service like that should be rewarded. Thanks again!

Did you mean to say that Redhead had initially rebuilt the steering box?

I've heard nothing but good about Redhead's steering gears. I'll probably be purchasing one here in the next few months.

I own one.. just make sure you get a brace.. they are a powerful gearbox. I think I picked up some turning radius as well.

Yup, redhead rebuilt the box, I had it on the truck for a while, the box developed a leak and Redhead took care of me.

That's great ! They're doing what they're supposed to... honor their warranty on their work.

How long did "a while" take before it started to leak ?

Every manufacturer.... and re-builder has a certain percentage of failures. It's just the nature of things, as no one person or process is perfect.

My gear came from http://www.powersteering.com/products.htm and he provides a lifetime warranty against failure of any kind related to his rebuild. I'm really surprised Redheads doesn't do the same in writing, although it appears they verbally will do so anyway.
