Red tailgate trim.
That part is a Tailgate Appliqué and cost $735.00 from the dealer but are out of stock everywhere.
Mine needs to be replaced after an accident dented mine and a dent from a stray bullet.
I want to keep the reflective panel so I was thinking of using 3M Scotchlite Reflective Vinyl Tape

I dont know anyone with a 3d printer. I dont need the whole entire trim, just the red piece.
Jim, is the 3m stuff just to attach your old red piece to the aluminum?

Kinda thinking something like this. Maybe attach it with some clear 2 part epoxy or something of that nature

The original was glued on, I still have mine as it was falling off but it is still in one piece just missing the paint where the glue was applied.
I wonder how well double sided tape would work?

Scotchlite is the highly reflective material you see on Fire Trucks, Road Signs, Barracades, and Safety Vest.

Make sure the surface is clean with no wax and the surface and ambient temps are warm.
Most body shops could spray a semi reflective stripe using a good Candy Apple Red over a metallic Silver base.
It would probably be as reflective as the factory one was.

I used a translucent piece of plastic cut and shaped with a router. Back side was sanded with 120grit so the adhesive couldn't be seen. Then Brake shaped a piece of aluminium for the bottom of the panel
That's a good idea on sanding that! I'm gonna get some ordered. By the way congrats on your truck making the tdr calander that's awesome! I'm hoping mine will be done in time to try to make the next calander
