i ran my vin and got a recall that said:

STR WHL ANTI-SEPERATION PLATE.

i had no clue what it was and couldn't hunt anything down on the internet. so on friday i went into my local dodge dealer and they said the steering wheel can "seperate" from the center hub! so pretty much the steering wheel snaps off. then i remembered working on my friends 91 and he had this small steel plate over the wheel and between the nut.

well on friday i towed my friends trail rig up to lake pillsbury and the ride there was crap! well my steering wheel almost broke off! i was lucky and found the perfect sized washer and installed it to get home. i went to dodge this morning and had them order me a new steering wheel.

i was trying to get them to loan me a new cummins no luck.
