I need some guidance on this, in the sticky the guy said the impeller slid off the shaft nicely....well mine doesnt move at all. Anyone have the same issue rebuilding their turbo? How'd you get the impeller off the shaft without damaging anything?

 

turn the nut to the end of shaft to protect threads and tap the end of the shaft lightly

 

i got it off but found that the base of the compressor wheel has a couple of chunks missing out of it.time to order a new wheel
