Hey all I'm new to the cummins and diesels but was told that a good upgrade was just the impeller on the 12V stock turbo? what are some options here and what should I expect from impeller upgrade vs Turbo upgrade...(I'm hopeing price is better which is why I am considering the impeller over bigger turbo). Gauges of course are first.

 

I would figure out how much power you are looking for. This is the first step in deciding which turbo to go with since you only want to go through the expense once, not twice. Once you have that in mind yuo can take progressive steps in the right direction.
