turque specs on the H1C
turque specs on the H1C
Hi, I purchased a 16cm exhaust housing, and 60mm ch-05 gds compressor wheel upgrade. I am planning to take a spare turbo into work and swapping them over this week. I need to know what to look out for when disassembling the exhaust and compressor side. I know that a little heat on the exhaust housing is a must to seperate it from the turbo.
1. Do I need to mark it to install the 16cm housing on in the same location? Or is there some sort of locating mark on the turbo?
2. Can someone tell me what the torque rating is on the nut on the compressor on the H1C when I install the new wheel? Is it left hand or right hand thread?
Thank you for your help

I'd mark it with a paint marker or sharpie just so it'll be easy to see where it needs to go, only takes a few seconds.
As far as the nut torque, I'm not 100% sure what it is on the H1C, but it is left hand thread. I did an hx35 a month ago but already forgot the tq specs on it as well... I got an email with my rebuild kit that had the whole holset rebuild manual then a link to find the tq specs. I'm sure if you googled it a chart should come up showing the model and tq specs
