Question Rear main seal repair

I've done some searching already but I value you guys opinion greatly so any help is appricated(spelling).

My rear main seal is leaking real bad(1 1/2-2 qts a day ).
I have made up my mind that I'm going to change the seal. I have on order (from cummins) rear seal with wear sleeve, cam O-ring, and that upside down U shaped gasket.

I would like to know if anyone else has done this job before and can give me any advice or hints to make this job easier, I will be doing it alone next weekend(11/20/04) and am a little worried

Thank you in advance, Michael

I Just did the job three days ago. Its real simple after you pull the trans and bell housing remove the clutch and flywheel ( real heavy) the seal is right behind. Drill two small holes in the old seal use slide hamer to knock it out clean things up and install new seal it should have a guide to slide it over the crank and an inttall ring to hammer it in the correct depth.
