rear brake issue

I performed a rear axle brake job and when i bled the brake lines i get very little brake fluid and the pedal never drops. Is there a proportioning or metering valve in this system?

I think you need to try it with the truck running to over come the Brake Booster

Yes, there is a proportioning valve, Dodge calls it a combination valve because it has the sender for the "brake" light on it. My 90 has it in the driver side frame rail, near the starter. Your 93 may be closer to master cylinder, but I am not sure of this. Do a search on bleeding and there is a ton of info on how to do it right...Mark

It is, more conveniently located. There is a special tool that re centers the valve. It's like a little lever spring. Easy to make if you know what it looks like.

So I guess stomping on the pedal will not recenter it? And does anyone have a picture of this tool?

You are correct, no.
Now that you mention it, yes.
