question on console lighting
Hey, all. It's been awhile since I've been on here. glad to see everyone's still happy go lucky. Could some of you please go out to your trucks this evening and turn on your headlights and see if the areas around the dash right above the radio ( AC/heater controls) light up. I just started an early start shift at work and have not driven early or in the dark in a while , and I could have sworn that the areas described light up along with the guage cluster. It seems weird that someone would have to feel around in the dark to adjust the climate controls. Let me know, and thanks for checking.

yeah there is a little bulb located behind the A/C controls, i had to replace mine not too long ago. it's a pretty easy swap, just take your dash cover off and unbolt the A/C controls. you'll see the light plug behind that.

Thanks!! I am going to go to my local NAPA. Would you happen to still remember the bulb type/part number?
