If you read and remembered my last post, my temps seemed a bit low to me.... so back to the full fuel screw I go.i twisted her 'bout 1-1.5 turns. I then lowered the idle to 700-750. Holy SMOKE!!! I love it too much. With my tiny 3" exhaust (5" stacks from a friend are in the mail), I could smoke out a 3-lane highway if i want to, but i can also run clean... if i want to .
Heading up Cheat mountain (5 mile long, straight up hill), I saw 1100 on the pyro,(remember, I have 4.10 gears, 5-speed, and I am doing about 80mph) but my temp guage (coolant) was way higher than it ever got before. This may be due to me keeping it to the floor the whole time so I could check the EGT guage, I dunno. I backed off and the temps dropped quickly, so I think it's all good. Whats next????????
