Pyro probe Question

My Autometer Pyro died on me a couple of days ago, and I called the service line at Autometer and they tell me that the probe is the cuprit. The gauge doesn't move, stays at 6o'clock all the time. So I can't get one until middle of next week and need to tow before then. Which leads to the question: Are all pyro probes the same? If they are the local Mack garage has one...

I would consider putting a cheap ball valve valet switch on there for when you are towing. Cut the air to the AFC and you could be fine
