go to tech facts at the top of you page, look in first gen ram topics, then look up what you wish, it will show the pump and give you instructions on everything you need to know to crank it up a bit

yup i bumped my timing on the pump after i turned up the full power screw on my injector pump and rotated the fuel pin 180, it reduces exhaust gas temperature it's a must.

It reduced the egts? I would think more fuel would increase it. Reading about the runaway's has me a little nervous to be honest about messing with the pump.

Its the timing that brings the temps down just a shade.

Runaway only happens to those pushing the envelope for the most part.

I put one turn past the collar and it made a different truck out of it.

I guess i need to read a little more on the pump then. From what i saw its really just the power screw at the back of the pump that makes all the difference. Dont care about around the town performance, just towing. Around town the truck has got plenty of poop to get out of its own way.
