Pulling Turbo

On my truck now I have my stock H1C with the 14cm/wg, I also have a stock HX35W. I was thinking on getting the upgrade from HHT for the HX and using it as my pulling turbo. As of right now my stock H1C has a larger impeller wheel than the HX. So I thought I'd keep the H1C stock and upgrade the HX. The kit will replace the 54mm wheel with a 60mm wheel, and then when I remove the H1C I'd use my 14cm/wg housing on the HX35. Any thoughts?

Why not just upgrade the H1C, then you don't even have to take it off the truck.

I just had the spare turbo and didn't too long of a down time for the truck. I was gonna polish the compression housing.

I did the HTT stage IV upgrade. It is an easy mod if you are good with tools and have an inch pound torque wrench. It raised my boost too 38 pounds if I turn the fuel all the way up and dump in a little water/meth. But egt's are still up there. I think that I am running outside the performance curve for that particular turbo when you consider I have 52 pounds drive pressure and still can melt pistons. I feel that the three inch exhaust outlet is holding me back from being able to run really high horsepower numbers without hitting 1600 degrees. I want to get a HX40 with the 4 inch exhaust and see if that will cool things a bit. When the budget allows.

Its not so much the 4inch exhaust outlet, but the 65mm turbine wheel, compared to the 60mm hx-35 wheel. Gives you more area for the exhaust gasses to escape. I say this because I got an hx-40 from a volvo, and it has a "volvo" 16cm exhaust housing, that only has a 3" outlet. Which I think would choke things eventually if you were fueling enough to really use the wastegate.
