Pull Cable Manual Fuel Shutoff install and keeper

say your fuel shutoff works as it is supposed to now (via the key). what needs to be done to make the pull cable setup work instead?

bradhale90, remove the shutoff take out the plunger and spring put it back in, leave wires off and tie them together seperatly, put pull cable on and pull to shut off.

i mounted mine in the lh upper corner of my steering column upper cover. it runs down the inside of the column then through the firewall. i need about a foot longer cable so the routing under the hood looks cleaner.

cool thing about this is i can reach through my st. wheel and pull it without bending over. makes it a little less obvious. i'll try to post a pic

nice job . its all been said.i love cheap. and it works. i have some 10 dollar fixes that i worked half a day on. but what the heck i get to use my mind for something good. i was eyeing my red shut off cable on my jd 2840 tractor.
