proportioning valve or master cylinder?????

Hey guys, I seem to have a problem with my break system. Over the course of a week or so. the rear break system resuvoir (small compartment) is somehow emptying itself and the front system (larger compartment) is filling to the point of over flowing. Now I don't have any leaks anywear that I can find and my breaks work good (for a dodge) but I don't have any petal fade or any other sysmtoms. I'm at a loss. Could my proportioning valve be sticking open and back flowing into the front system or would the orings be bad in the master cylinder? Is there a way to check the proportioning valve before spending money on a new one which by the way up hear in Canada is about $350 from the ***********...

I think it's the master cylinder leaking

I would also think it's a master problem.
